Wayward Pines, the end is nigh

The sun is setting on the filming of season two of Wayward Pines. (Like it was on Canada Place and the Pan Pacific Hotel tonight in downtown Vancouver).
Without revealing too much, the townsfolk are hostile on a Friday night at 2 a.m. on the main street of Wayward Pines. Is it because of the not so pleasant ending of season 2, or because they were still working early into Saturday morning?
The longest days of the year. Our week started at Spanish Banks, where we were filming at the University of British Columbia. (UBC) Looking east towards downtown Vancouver.........

and looking west towards Burrard Inlet. After taking the pics, I looked at my phone, it was 4:30 a.m!

Filming today was in and around the Chemistry building at Main Mall.
Later on in the week we filmed at the incredible Rio Vista mansion on Marine Drive in the west end of Vancouver. This home was built in the 1920's by the Reifel brothers. Down the road, they built another well known heritage building in Vancouver, Casa Mia. (another mansion we film at a lot)
A lot larger than it looks from the road

The gardens....
were magnificent

Our circus (base camp) today was overlooking the Fraser river and Vancouver International Airport, at the far south end of Granville Street.

Did not know there was still active logging on the river.
Another early start downtown waiting to pick-up an exec. (Burrard Inlet by the convention center)

Looking back towards the Olympic torch and downtown.

Standing by with my Flex as usual, this time back at the Wayward Pines Hospital (Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam).
fluffy cloud action looking south

One of the hazards of the job. All of the washroom trailers and actor's trailers need a visit from the septic vacuum truck, usually every day. Trust me , it does not matter where you are, you are always down wind from the suction. (and it always seem to show up at lunch time, yuk!)

another night, more unhappy citizens of Wayward Pines. (This time in the WP neighborhood at the entrance to the superstructure  (Coquitlam))

My Thursday shift is finished on Friday. (and it's only 4:48 a.m.)
One more week to go to the end of episode 10, and season 2. Catch episode 5 on fox at 9 p.m. next Wednesday.
surfing the web, more questions than answers. He's a keeper?

Ok boys, put the beers down and rethink this.

freak show

not everyone has the same sense of humor. I know I don't.

clever packaging, makes me think of the Easy-bake oven.
Hassler and Xander will see you next week on Wayward Pines.
